Dazy 1: Travel day USA - Czech Republic

Day 2: Prague.
On your arrival in Prague, the bus will take you from the Prague airport to your hotel where you can relax before the welcome dinner. Depending on the time of arrival, a short sightseeing tour is possible. Overnight in Prague.

Day 3: Group 1 - sightseeing Prague
We will take you to the Prague Castle complex, visit St. Vitus cathedral, walk through the Castle gardens to the Little Quarter district, walk on the famous Charles Bridge and finish our tour in the Old Town Square with the Old Town Hall and its Astronomical clock. You will be free in the evening to explore more on your own. Overnight in Prague.

Day 3: Group 2 - Nove Straseci, Pecinov, Rynholec
We will take you to the ancestral towns/villages of Nove Straseci, Pecinov, Rynholec in central Bohemia. Overnight in Prague.

Day 4: Prague – Ceske Budejovice – Cesky Krumlov
Day four will find us on the way to Ceske Budejovice, the capital of South Bohemia. We can stop for a short sightseeing tour of the Ceske Budejovice historical center, have lunch at the popular restaurant and beer hall ‘Masne kramy’ (Butchers Stalls). Then we will continue to Cesky Krumlov, a picturesque town on the river Vltava and check-in to the hotel. Overnight in Cesky Krumlov.

Day 5: Cesky Krumlov – Brloh
From our “home base” in Cesky Krumlov it is not far to the little town of Brloh. After only a short drive along the narrow winding roads through the beautiful South Bohemian countryside you will find yourselves standing by a small local church or enjoying the hospitality of your relatives or friends. And their ‘kolatche’ and wild mushroom schnitzels are absolutely delicious!!! Overnight in Cesky Krumlov.

Day 6: Cesky Krumlov / Ancestral villages.
You will be free to spend the whole day either in Cesky Krumlov, visit the Cesky Krumlov Castle, tour its luxurious interior and walk around its beautiful gardens. Or, if you feel like it, you can try your luck at kayaking or canoeing on the Vltava river!! When tired and hungry, you can pick just the right place for you from numerous restaurants, pubs and taverns in the center.Another option for you is to visit some other ancestral villages near Cesky Krumlov. Overnight in Cesky Krumlov

Day 7: Cesky Krumlov - Passau - Marktl - Salzburg.
Good-bye Cesky Krumlov! On our way to Salzburg we’ll stop in the “City of Three Rivers" – Passau, where you will have a chance to admire St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the largest Baroque cathedral north of the Alps and the seat of the Passau bishop. Passau also boasts a number of other sights, and offers a pleasant stroll through its streets. Then we will continue our way to Salzburg, Austria. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 8: Eagle's nest (Kehlstein)–Salt mines–Salzburg
This is certainly going to be a busy day! We’re going to visit ‘The Kehlsteinhaus’, a chalet-style structure in the mountains above Berchtesgaden, which was intended as a 50th birthday present for Adolf Hitler. On our way back to Salzburg we will stop to explore the famous Hallein Salt Mine, which has served as a mining museum since World War I and is famous for its long wooden slides between levels. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 8: Salzburg by night
We’ll end the day in the city of Salzburg, which lies on the Salzach river, and is probably best-known because of one of the most famous world composers, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. And the evening walk through the street will certainly be memorable!

Day 9: Salzburg - Munich
On Day 9 we will leave Austria to spend the rest of the trip in the Free State of Bavaria, a country in the southeast of West Germany. On our way to Munich, the capital, we will have an opportunity to stop at Chiemsee (“Bavarian Sea”), the third largest lake in Germany and one of the most popular recreation areas in Bavaria. Then we will drive to Munich. Overnight in Munchen.
Day 10: Munich and the Dachau concentration camp.
In the morning, a visit is planned to the ill-famed Dachau concentration camp, located about 9.9 mi northwest of Munich. Opened on March 22, 1933 (51 days after Hitler took power), it was the first regular concentration camp officially described as "the first concentration camp for political prisoners." For the afternoon we will return to Munich to explore this unique city of art, culture, history, and sport. Overnight in Munchen.

Day 11: Munich / ancestral villages near Regensburg (Rockolding).
We will continue exploring Munich sights but will certainly make sure you will also have time to enjoy Munich’s open air beer “gardens”, pork sausages and grilled fish. You simply cannot leave Munich without experiencing this! An option will be a drive to the ancestral villages near Regensburg for those interested. Overnight in Munchen.
Day 12: Travel day. Munich - USA.
Transport to the airport and travel home.
